The Opening Of Style Fashion Week 2015 Celebrates Life, Fashion & Entertainment.

The Reef, Los Angeles (The Hollywood Times) 10/14/2015- It seems that all of Hollywood continues to celebrate LA Fashion Week with the Opening of the iconic Style Fashion Week which takes place on October 14th-18th. On October 13th Style Fashion Week had an amazing celebrity packed Opening party in the legendary, The Study, right in the middle of Beverly Hills. The following day some celebs took to the runway in support of the Style Me Pink Celebrity charity event at The Reef.

On October 14th, Style Fashion Week marked its Opening runway shows with Malan Breton SS 2016 Reflections of Sun Moon Lake Collection. The internationally recognized, Taiwanese Award winning, celebrity designer has already become one of the biggest names in New York City, where he is based.  Malan came to Los Angeles to introduce his new Collection inspired by the beautiful Sun Moon Lake, located in Taiwan: elegant gowns and short dresses, pants and jackets from silk, bright cobalt-blue color, embroidery, floral and scale-like printed patterns reflected Sun Moon Lake scenes and perfectly translated Asian-inspired design.

The second part of the evening, entitled Style Me Pink Celebrity Runway Show, benefitted the Susan G Komen organization supporting Breast Cancer research and education. Celebrities included actors AnnaLynne McCord (Nip/Tuck), Blanca Blanco and John Savage, award winning actress and model Melanie Marden, actress Alice Amter (The Big Bang Theory), Carolyn Hennesy (General Hospital), actor and model Vincent De Paul, the members of royal family HH. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe and Princess Antonia Schaumburg-Lippe, the prodigy opera singer Angel Ng, top model Katie Cleary, a model with a disability, children and several cancer survivors walked the runway wearing white, pink and floral printed gowns and dresses, swimwear and one piece outfits to support the event. Costume and Haute Couture designer Pol’ Atteu/ Pol’ Atteu Haute Couture of Beverly Hills, Marika Soderlund-Robison/Kicka Custom Design and Diego Medel made one of a kind pieces for the runway. The show started with an introductory speech by Haute Couture Fashion Designer Sonia Ete, who expressed her support and dedication to the Susan G Komen Foundation and its non-stop dedication in support of cancer survivors and cancer research and education. The guests also had a chance to enjoy the live performance of the “O Sole Mio” aria and watch runway shows afterwards. The royal family of HH. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, Prince Waldemar Schaumburg-Lippe and Princess Antonia Schaumburg-Lippe honored the designer extraordinaire Diego Medel, whose pink gown and a bow tie were worn by actors Blanca Blanco and John Savage. Diego received a special award for his achievement in fashion and the entertainment industry. Famous Haute Couture celebrity designer Pol’ Atteu/ Pol’ Atteu Haute Couture of Beverly Hills, presented the sophisticated looks of his 2016 Collection which featured Exclusive Royal Fabric “Moshee Min” in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Breast cancer survivors walked the runway in long, elegant, pink dresses and amazing head pieces that transformed the models into beauty queens of Haute Couture for costume designer Kicka Custom Design.

During the evening, guests enjoyed the performance of opera star Angel Ng who was wearing a Kicka Custom Design costume. One of the highlight performances of the night was by dancers Jackie and Joseph who nailed it, dressed up by Kicka Custom Design as well.

The models’ hair was done by Keratin Complex and makeup was provided by Voodoo Makeup BAR.
