TIM MCGRAW

– SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN TOUR By: Judy Shields Irvine, California (The Hollywood Times) 5/20/2014 - “I am half Italian you know and me and my family went to Italy on vacation a couple of years ago and we were walking along and this little Italian man stopped and asked if those where my Daughters and I said yes sir, and he said, I have raised five sons and one girl and I would rather raise ten more boys and 5 more dogs than opposed to raising one more girl. I looked at him and thought about it and I said I appreciate that and I might look you up in a few years, but I wouldn’t trade my girls for nothing in the world.” Tim McGraw told the crowd at Verizon Amphitheatre down in Irvine on Sunday night as he sat at the edge of the stage with his guitar. He told the crowd that he is not the best guitar player in the world, but I would like to play this song for my daughters. He started strumming those guitar strings and belted out “You Are so Beautiful” as pictures of his three girls growing up were displayed on the big screen on stage. It was amazing how quite the crowd became once he started signing and stayed that way until he was finished. Wow, that was a powerful song and he did just wonderful playing that guitar and singing without backup music from the band, the Dancehall Dancers.
