The 2013 NATPE Market and Conference planning is well under way

Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/19/12 –“We’re grateful to provide all who attend the chance to celebrate NATPE’s important role in the history of the television business, as well as to be able to take a thoughtful, reflective, service-oriented approach to exploring the many exciting opportunities and serious challenges that lie ahead,” explained president Rod Perth to THT yesterday on conference call, September 18th . This year the conference marks its 50th anniversary and is scheduled for Jan. 28-30 at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami. Perth also said that “all domestics are committed to attend NATPE 2013 and also many of the Independents have signed on.” The Brandon Tartikoff awards are already in the planning stages. Mr. Perth is keeping one of the recipients a secret for now. With the theme “Beyond Disruption”, the format is completely new for 2013 and includes an exploration into disruption and what comes afterwards.
